Copenhagen: Woldikes Forlagsboghandel, 1863. First edition. Text in Danish. Modern cloth. 8 x 5 inches (20 x 13 cm); [124] pp., vignette to title, with 6 tinted lithographs. Some spotting and stray stains, some coloring added to one plate and the title lettering, bookplate of Aaron Matalon.

An uncommon Danish work providing the narrative of an expedition to the West Indies in the early 1860s. The interesting lithographed plates show an outpost in Venezuela, views in St. Thomas and St. Croix and a plate of the "Couleurt Bal" at St. Thomas. Not in Sabin.
