Original dark green cloth, gilt lettering to spine and front board. 8 x 5 3/8 inches (20 x 14.75 cm); viii, 155 pp.; portrait frontispiece and 7 plates. Very minor wear to boards and edges, New England Historic Geneological Society gift bookplate from Charles K. Bolton, the author's son and the book's editor, library markings and deacession stamp, altogether a very well preserved copy.
The pothsumous autobiography of Sarah K. Bolton, an author, editor and woman's temperence movement activist. Though there are many copies in libraries, this book is rare in commerce.
