Modern marbled paper boards, gilt lettered spine label, original printed wrappers bound in. 11 x 8 3/4 inches (27.5 x 22.25 cm); [6], 60 pp., plates. Wrappers spotted and toned with a repair to paper at lower corner, contents with light toning and pale spots.

Prince Roland Bonaparte's study of Ile Maurice, now known as Mauritius. He focuses his history on the little studied period from 1638-1710, while the island was under Dutch control. Ryckebusch, I, 908.
