London: Longmans, Green and Co., 1887. First edition, first printing. Publisher's dark blue cloth over beveled boards; gilt stamped cover and spine, swan and ship patterned endpapers. 7 1/2 by 5 inches; [8], [1]-317, [1] pp., 2 pp ads at rear; 2 color lithographed plates. Light shelf wear, and spine lean, ownership blindstamp on the front free endpaper, 1887 inscription on the half-title.

She, Haggard's immensely popular adventure story, has never been out of print since first published. It is also credited as the foundational text of the "Lost World" subgenre of fantasy literature. McKay 5a; Sadleir 1092; Wolff 2881.
