Louis Katona and Daum Art Deco Gilt-Iron and Acid-Etched Glass Floor Lamp
Circa 1925-30
Of tall flower form, with an inverted bell-form shade, in colorless glass, etched with a pattern of stylized flowerheads above a fluted band, frost finish, raised on a tapering standard formed by a cluster of six tall, slender textured leaves, ending in a domed circular foot, shade engraved DAUM NANCY FRANCE with the Cross of Lorraine; base inscribed L. KATONA. Height 66 1/2 inches; diameter of shade 19 inches.
