Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Majolica Fly Match Striker and Cover
Date code JDC for 1874
Naturalistically modeled, the wings and thorax forming the cover, the underside incised as a match strike, resting among lily pads on an oval foot, impressed uppercase mark, black painted 575. Height 2 1/2 inches, length 5 1/4 inches.
