Naturalistically modeled, the central shallow pond with a frog surrounded by a large snake and a spotted salamander, the border applied with three smaller lizards, a small frog, a snail, a butterfly, a moth, a grasshopper, assorted worms, the rim as a coiled snaked, the footrim pierced for hanging, impressed crowned partial uppercase mark, CALDAS, PORTUGAL. Diameter 16 1/2 inches.

overall nice condition; clever professional restoration to the peripheral snake's neck and head; small chip to the snail shell; possible chip loss to the lower jaw of the central frog but does not blacklight as overpainted
