New York: American Lawn Tennis, 1925. One of 340 copies, this number 147, signed in ink by Tilden and the editor, Stephen Wallis Merrihew. Publisher's three-quarters leather, cloth sides. 8 3/4 x 6 inches (22 x 15 cm); xxiv, 355, [1] pp. Corners bumped, spine a bit faded, some wear, a bit overopened.

An important work on tennis by Tilden, the dominant player worldwide of the 1920s. He was the first American played to win at Wimbledon, and is one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
