Silver and Enamel Shibayama Style Tray
Meiji Period, signed on a gilt plaque Yoshimori sei
Raised on four flanged feet, the filagree tray is set with two plaques, one of ivory and one in kinji, inlaid in colored mother-of-pearl and horn with birds and flowers; the flat silver sides are molded with massed flowers highlighted by colored enamel. Width 11 inches (27.9 cm), depth 8 5/8 inches (21.7 cm).
