Group of Twelve Japanese Netsuke
Meiji Period, 19th and 20th centuries
Comprising nine ivory including cat on a bell, chick, recumbent cow, goose, mother and two children, figure tying his sandal, boy and tortoise, seated boy and woman with a basket and peach; lacquered bone netsuke; and two boxwood netsuke, one of shoki and an oni, and an oni with a gourd. Length of largest 2 1/8 inches.
