Two Japanese Kozuka
19th Century
One bronze and ji-migaki with a bird in zogan of gold, silver and shakudo flying above a bamboo branch in togidashi of shakudo; the other gold and ji-migaki, the figure Evisu carrying a fan and dancing, a fish still caught on the hook of his fishing pole, pine branch above, kata-kiri work with shibuichi, silver and copper inlay, reverse in neko-gaki style, signed Nagatrune (Ichinomiya). Lengths 3 3/4 inches.
