Two Japanese Kozuka
19th Century
One brass, with two carp in a stream worked in relief, the current worked in usu-niku-bori and ch 390isel work with silver dots representing bubbles, signed hisa Haru with a kakihan; the other bronze cast in relief with the figure of Fudo standing on rockwork in front of a waterfall topped by clouds, his head surrounded by gold inlaid flames and holding a sword in the right hand. Lengths 3 3/4 inches.
