Standing Figure of a Bodhisattva 16th Century

Of two-part construction with separate head, the worshiping figure, once flanking a central figure of Buddha, bears traces of gilding on the elaborate robes, mainly on the back; the face and chest retain much gilding and the serene face is set with glass eyes. Height 23 1/2 inches (59.6 cm).
