Venice: Alessandro de' Vecchi, 1629. 19th century mottled calf, marbled sides, all edges yellow. 9 1/8 x 6 1/2 inches (23 x 16.5 cm); (viii), 506 pp., with two folding plates and many other full and double page woodcut illustrations, collating pi, A-3T^(4). Light binding wear, old stamp (Biblioteca Giovanini) in outer margin of title, not affecting text, occasional minor toning and staining, very minor worming towards end, the blank lower half of the final leaf reinforced.
A handsome early seventeenth century Vitruvius, quite scarce. Fowler 416; Cicognara 725.
