. London: Browne's Bookstore, (1911). First edition, one of 75 copies signed by Craig (from a total edition of 150, the balance of which were published by Heinemann in the U.K). Publisher's vellum backed buff boards, the upper cover with Gordon Craig's initials in a a medallion, top edge gilt. 9 5/8 x 7 3/8 inches (24 x 19 cm); xix, [1], 296 pp., 20 tipped-in plates throughout. The vellum spine a bit toned, a few spots of foxing just clear of the fine Steichen gravure portrait; Together with Henry Irving. London: Dent, 1930. One of 75 signed copies with the two extra plates. 8 1/2 x 5 7/8 (20.5 x 14.5 cm). Original leather backed boards, slipcase. Spotting, front hinge cracked, wear to case.
