. [London: The Doves Press, 1909]. One of 250 copies. Original vellum by the Doves Bindery, housed in a half morocco case. 9 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches (24 x 17 cm); printed in black and red, 158, 23, [1] pp. A very fine copy with minimal soiling to the vellum.
With the apple green initial W applied to the first text leaf by the great calligrapher Edward Johnston, one of the most attractive flourishes (and certainly the most strikingly colorful) in all the Doves books. Ransom Doves 17.
