Publisher's lithographic boards in acetate jacket. 14 x 10 3/8 inches (36 x 26 cm); 187 pp., complete with 40 lithographed plates and reproductions after Matisse's paper collages and drawings (all those in color listed in the table at rear). The color plates consist of 15 single page, 9 double-page, 1 triple sheet, and 3 quadruple foldouts. Spine somewhat defective, fine bright copy internally.
A spectacular production, one of the most desirable of the Verve issues, printed by Mourlot and Teriade.
