. [Washington:] 2 March 1909. Small format photographic portrait of Roosevelt stamped by the Pach Bros., inscribed on the mat "To Rho chapter/Delta Kappa Epsilon/fraternally/Theodore Roosevelt/March 2d 1909." The photograph and mat 9 x 6 1/4 inches (23 x 16 cm); framed. The photograph with a few visible punctures, the signature dark, unexamined out of frame.
Roosevelt was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon while at Harvard and five American presidents have been members of the same fraternity. Roosevelt inscribed this photograph on March 2nd, just two days before leaving office on the 4th.
