Saltasaurus Dinosaur Egg
Salta Province, Argentina, late Cretaceous, 80 million years old
Known also as lizard from Salta, since it was first discovered in the region of Northwest Argentina. Like many Sauropods, Saltasaurus was a huge herbivorous quadrupedal dinosaur of the Titanosaurus genus, and was the first Sauropod known to have armor. It grew to lengths of more than 40 feet. This rare unhatched egg is with 100% eggshell, diameter approximately 7 1/2 inches. Some diligent and careful restoration has been completed using original bone fragments. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
