Louis XV Style Ormolu-Mounted Tulipwood and Kingwood Bureau à Cylindre
With trellis parquetry, the superstructure with three-quarter pierced galleried central stepped top with two drawers flanked by drawers, the cylinder opening to a sliding panel and an interior fitted with three pigeonholes and five drawers, above a drawer flanked by two drawers to the left-hand and a deep drawer faced to similar two drawers to the right, each side fitted with a writing slide, on cabriole legs headed by pierced foliate-cast mounts and terminating in scrolling sabots. Height 57 inches (144 cm), width 62 inches (157 cm), depth 34 inches (86.4 cm).
