Continental Painted and Parcel-Gilt Marble Top Table
19th Century
The later rectangular marble top above a fluted frieze and raised on reeded X-form legs headed by lions' heads with gilt-metal rings and ending in paw feet. Height 30 inches (76.3 cm), width 56 inches (142.3 cm), depth 34 1/2 inches (87.7 cm).
