Publisher's stiff pictorial wrappers. 7 1/4 x 9 3/4 inches; [24] pp.; full-page map, in-text 3-D illustrations, with original "Wonder Spectacles" in rear pocket. Light soiling to wrappers, rear pocket torn but functional, gelatin lenses cracked but present.
Very scarce; only two copies listed in WorldCat. Intended for a juvenile audience, this is possibly the only big game book to feature three-dimensional illustrations. The map depicts the route along the Kenya-Uganda railway from Mombasa to Kisumu, and the reader can follow the journey by viewing the illustrations with the 3D glasses. Certainly a product of its time with outmoded attitudes toward race and culture, but an interesting piece nonetheless.
