DUFF, ARTHUR A. Game Book [cover title].
Full morocco. Manuscript records of game from 1896-1927 on 141 leaves, approximately 61 original photographs (30 of which depict big game hunting in Africa). Laid in is an envelope containing a small group of photographs with a Windsor Great Park game card and typed sheet of foolscap with "Game Bag" for the years 1910-1941. Leather a bit rubbed and scraped, some surface soiling and staining to interior, a few leaves are wavy, many images toned.
Duff departs Singapore in October 1900 for Addis Ababa, where he bagged oryx, zebra andother game near the Hawash River. The following year he returned, joining Archibald Butter's Abyssinia survey expedition, which is described here over three leaves. The album contains 30 photographs of game from these two exhibitions.
