Publisher's green decorated cloth gilt. 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches; xix, 276; xxi, 297 pp.; frontispieces, 2 folding maps in rear pockets, plates, half-titles. Spine ends lightly bumped, maps laid down on linen and slightly creased, else a nice set.
