Comprising 18 letters addressed to his daughter, Princess Nina Georgievna, including: a letter dated February 12 which discusses preparations for the Romanov Tercentenary celebrations; a letter dated February 22 which describes the Romanov Tercentenary celebrations, including a service at Kazan Cathedral, a speech by Emperor Nicholas II and the Emperor receiving well-wishers at the Winter Palace; a letter dated May 17 which describes a visit to Kostroma with Nicholas II and family; and a letter dated May 22 which describes a visit to Moscow where he met with Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna and Felix Yusupov and details his visit to Kostroma and describes the Emperor's children
