Comprising 48 letters addressed to his daughter, Princess Nina Georgievna, including: an account of the Brusilov Offensive (May 26-July 16); two letters dated February 17 and 29 which describe the visit of English General Arthur Paget to the Stavka at Mogilev where he awarded Emperor Nicholas II a Field Marshal's baton; two letters dated May 6 and 10 which describe celebrations of the 300th anniversary of the death of Kuzma Minin; and a letter dated November 1 which describes the regiments of the Russian army.
