Russian Porcelain Plaque
Possibly Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, St. Petersburg, first half 19th century
Rectangular, painted with a view of the Kamennoostrovsky Bridge in St. Petersburg, with figures in the foreground, the lower border with an identifying inscription in Russian, apparently unmarked, the reverse inscribed No 2, in a modern giltwood frame. Height overall 12 5/8 inches (32 cm), width 15 3/4 inches (40 cm.).
