Russian Carved Wood Triptych Icon of St. Sergius of Radonezh
Probably Khotkovo, Moscow Region, early 20th century
Rectangular, with two arched doors opening to reveal an icon of the saint depicted half-length, carved in the Neo-Russian style with foliage, scrolls and roundels enclosing birds. Height 7 1/8 inches, width extended 9 1/4 inches.

In generally good condition. With light surface wear, gouges and small age cracks. Some craquelure to varnish and to surface of icon. Some wear to surface along hinges. One door does not close completely flush.
