Full calf, gilt spines, speckled edges. 8 3/8 x 5 inches (21.1 x 12.6 cm); various paginations. Printed in two columns. Worn, some hinges weak, occasional foxing and staining, periodical sold as is.
Annual Register for the years 1758-1792, most later editions (Volumes 29-34 are first editions). With much Revolutionary War material, including the Declaration of Independence (Vol. 19) and the Constitution (Vol. 29), as well as France's Declaration of the Rights of Men and of Citizens. Edmund Burke conceived of the idea of publishing an account of yearly events. He wrote the early volumes by himself, though was joined by co-authors in later years. The lot 23 volumes. (23)
