GRANT, ULYSSES S. Group of four carte-de-visite portraits and one unmounted photograph.
The CDVs each a bust portrait of Grant in military uniform, each about 3 7/8 x 2 1/2 inches (10 x 6 cm), two plain and two with backstamps (J. Gurey and The New York Photographic Co.); the unmounted photograph a three-quarters length portrait of Grant with his hand in his vest, 3 1/4 x 2 1/8 inches (8 x 5.5 cm). One card with clipped corners, minor spots and wear.
