Group of Four Chinese Export Silver Card Cases
19th/20th Century
Each rectangular, comprising one marked Khechong, 1860s, with figures and a phoenix amongst foliate scrolls, height 3 7/8 inches (10 cm); one with chrysanthemums, bamboo and a bird, 3 1/2 inches (9 cm); one with a dragon amongst foliate scrolls, height 3 1/8 inches (8 cm); and one marked Woshing, 1890s, with a boat and lake scene, height 3 1/8 inches (8 cm), total approximately 8 ounces.

Khechong - good condition overall; clearly hallmarked; good detail to decoration; the cover with a blank medallion, but no sign of erasure; retains detail to faces of figures
Chrysanthemums and bamboo - good condition overall; marked with Chinese characters to inside rim; good detail to decoration; blank medallion, but no sign of erasure
Dragons - good condition overall; apparently unmarked; good heavy gauge; good detail to decoration
Woshing - clearly hallmarked; very minor small crease dent to body from handling; repair to hinge
