[Jefferson, N.C.?] : [J.A. Testerman], 1911. "1911 Edition" on wrappers; we note no other editions recorded. Wrappers, saddle-stitched. 6 7/8 x 4 3/4 inches (17 x 12 cm); [viii], 84 pp. Upper corner a bit bumped, slight tear to spine.
We note only one copy of this work institutionally. It appears to be a distinct work from Coale's similarly titled work of 1878, which was substantially longer. The author's preface states that he has consulted the previous history and "...all that the book contains, have the merit at least of being true."
