Spine lightly dulled and rubbed, the front hinge slightly loose, faint ink signature of "G.H. Luck" to the front pastedown, bookplate of Joan and Fred Berne to front free endpaper, a sound copy.
Conan Doyle's fourth and final Sherlock Holmes novel. Issued several months following the American issue, the London issue is less common with some 20,000 fewer copies printed. Green and Gibson A39
