London: Effingham Wilson, 1830. First edition, first issue with p. 91 misnumbered 19 and with "carcanet" correctly spelled on p.72. Original boards with paper spine label, housed in a full morocco pull-off case. 7 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches; 154 pp., errata leaf at front, ad leaf at rear. A very fine copy with small losses at foot of spine and spine label, light toning and faint spots to boards, a few spots within but internally quite clean.

Tennyson's first collection of poems, scarce in original boards and in such fine, unsophisticated condition. One of only 600 copies printed. Wise 7.
