[Washington: circa 1961]. One page of scattered manuscript notations in Kennedy's hand across the verso of a sheet of the printed sheet music Walking Down to Washington. The visible area of the sheet 10 1/2 x 8 inches (27 x 20 cm; presented in fine large framed display with a portrait, a copy of the lyrics side of the sheet, and three insets relating to the Guernsey's auction where purchased. The frame overall 25 x 36 inches (64 x 90 cm). A few spots and signs of handling, not examined out of the frame; Together with two original photographs depicting John F. Kennedy, both by John Loengard depicting Kennedy on his Western Trip, with Life Magazine backstamps, both 9 x 13 inches (23 x 33 cm), minor wear to edges; and a framed display of condolence items on the death of John F. Kennedy, the framed display 22 x 24 inches (56 x 65 cm).

John F. Kennedy's hand-written notes are famously difficult to read; here he takes notes for perhaps a speech or a letter and mentions the "brilliance" of Thomas Jefferson (who Kennedy was known to greatly admire) and also Matt McCloskey who was Ambassador to Ireland 1962-64.
