Middlebury: Printed at the Office of the Free Press, by Edward D. Barber, 1831. First edition. Original leather backed marbled boards. 6 x 4 inches (16 x 10 cm); 61 pp. The binding worn and with small losses, without flyleaves, light staining throughout.

Scarce work on the devastation caused by a sudden flood, including the death of the author's son, Loyal Eldridge, age 19.
