Comprising: POE, EDGAR ALLAN. The Fall of the House of Usher. Maastricht: The Halcyon Press, 1930. One of ten copies (copy A) on Japanese vellum with an additional three suites of proof engravings. Red morocco, gilt stamped and lettered, top edge gilt. 10 x 7 1/2 inches; [1-6, blank], [8-10], 11-68, [2] pp., Engraved frontispiece, plates and engravings in text by Alexander Alexieff. Boards a bit bowed, spine very slight sunned, contents spotted and lightly toned; together with LONGUS. Daphnis & Chloe. A Most Sweet, and Pleasant Pastorall Romance for Young Ladies. Berkshire: Golden Cockerel Press, 1923. Copy 365 out of 450 copies. Original cloth, gilt. 108 pp., engraved frontispiece, plates. Stain to cloth along tail edge of front board, cloth rippling around spine and on rear board, spine darkened, endpapers toned, a few small spots; TWAIN, MARK. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. New York: Random House, 1930. Copy 70 from an edition of 2000, signed by the illustrator. Publisher's calf backed decoratively printed cloth, slipcase. 131, ]1],pp., green black printed illustrations in text by Donald McKay, printed by the Pynson Printers. Spine lightly sunned, minor soiling to boards at corners, slipcase with light wear, rippling, toning and dampstaining, contents clean and bright; and WILDE, OSCAR. Salomé: A Tragedy in One Act. San Francisco: Grabhorn Press, 1927. From an edition of one hundred and ninety-five copies. Publisher's blue cloth backed printed paper boards, slipcase. Unpaginated, color printed wood block frontispiece and marginal designs by Valenti Angelo. Boards lightly bowed, spotting and toning to boards and endpapers, the occasional pale spot on text leaves, light wear, fading and dampstaining to slipcase.
