Uncut in later marbled wrappers, retains the original blue paper rear wrapper. 9 1/2 x 6 inches (24 x 15 cm); 215 pp. Contemporary ink signature of Richard Bartlett to title, some wear to gutter of title, a few leaves becoming disbound, toned but generally fine; Together with Documents Accompanying the Message of the President of the United States, To Both Houses, at the Opening of the Seventeenth Congress. December 5, 1821. Washington: Gales & Seaton, 1821. Disbound pamphlet. 9 x 5 1/2 inches (23 x 14 cm); Part I only, with a running title [1], 70 pp. Remants of earlier binding.

The first title here contains "Documents concerning troubles resulting from Jackson's high-handed conduct in Florida" (Howes) and prints many documents from Jackson as well as Native American chiefs. The second work, dated from 1821, also relates to Florida and prints documents from Colonel Forbes, Jackson and others. The first work Howes M551.
