[MANUSCRIPT] Leaf on vellum extracted from a large-format 13th century Bible in Latin.
Possibly English: likely third or fourth quarter of the 13th century. 12 7/8 x 9 inches (32.5 x 23 cm); two columns written in a very fine early Gothic bookhand, 48 lines to the column, rubricated with chapter headings in alternating red and blue capitals, with a columnar decoration on each page in red and blue; comprising a portion of chapter 22, all of 23, and a large portion of chapter 24 of the Book of Joshua. Minor soiling, cockling etc.
