HALSTON Four original fashion design drawings by Roy Halston (1932-1990).
Four original fashion sketches on lined paper, each 12 1/2 x 8 inches (33 x 20 cm), unsigned, being four designs for dresses. Fine.
These designs were drawn in the presence of and gifted to Nancy North, Halston model, personal confidant and wife of Halston designer Bill Dugan.
Of these drawings, Nancy North describes the first sketch as "there I go again, the shirt dress with slightly raised shoulders"; the second as "another silk crepe dress in many colors, with matching scarf cage, the ladies can't get enough of this"; the third sketch is a dress with print; and the last as a suit with waist wrap.
