[WHISTLER] [KENNEDY, EDWARD GUTHRIE. The Etched Work of Whistler.
New York: The Grolier Club, 1910. One of 400 sets]. Three volumes, full green morocco, all edges gilt. 14 3/4 x 12 1/2 inches (37 x 31.5 cm); 442 stamp-numbered leaves of plates. Lacking the text volumes, bindings worn, faded to brown, not fully collated and sold as is, not subject to return.

Four engravings, possibly the four plates appended later as a supplement, are laid into the front of the first volume. The work has been reprinted (with the text volumes) but the plates of the original edition are unrivalled.
