Publisher's gray cloth. lettered in gilt and in black. 9 x 6 inches (23 x 15 cm); xvi, 252 pp., plates and illustrations, folded map in rear pocket. Some wear to extremities, especially at spine ends, toning to cloth at spine, hinges cracked but sound, light toning to first and last few leaves and margins, bookplate of George Frost Murphy, Jr. (2)
