Samuel Lear Majolica Cream-Ground 'Sunflower' Oyster Plate
Circa 1882
The pale-turquoise floral and geometric molded well surrounded by six large yellow and brown sunflowers pockets linked by trailing vine, reserved on a diaper molded ground, within a lavender-gray lobed rim, indistinct registry diamond, recorded as (27-L-E-3) for 27 May 1882, parcel 3. Diameter 9 7/8 inches.
