Pair of Minton Majolica Cobalt-Blue Ground Reticulated Garden Seats
Shape no. 1364, date cypher for 1871
Each hexagonal, with paneled side pierced in the Aesthetic style with yellow centered white flowerheads trellis, above conjoined green diamonds and pink oblong octagonal strapwork, impressed uppercase mark and A, shape no. and black painted H to interior. Height 19 inches.

overall nice condition; surface scratches to the top surface on both; one with one end that has been off and reattached on a section of the double diamond strapwork; one with light hazing to one corner near the foot on the cobalt blue ground, does not appear to have been overpainted; the other has a chip to the side near the top and a Z-shaped crack to the strapwork with associated glaze losses; examined under blacklight
