Minton Majolica Gothic Revival Large Revolving Luncheon Tray
The design based on a tile pattern by A.W.N. Pugin, shape no. 799, date cypher, circa 1870
Embossed in the encaustic style, the central flower medallion surrounded by lappets enclosing fleur-de-lys, within a shaped green rim, impressed uppercase mark, and shape no. Height 5 inches, diameter 18 inches.

Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (1812-1852) architect and industrial designer.
