London: Smith, Elder, 1879. 52 volumes, full tan calf, spine gilt extra with labels in red and green, marbled endpapers. One of 1,000 copies. 10 3/8 x 7 1/4 inches (28.5 x 18.5 cm); various paginations. The spines faded to cream, light wear, generally an attractive set.
