[FLORIDA] A group of seven framed pieces, including a cartoon, historical prints, views and a map, mostly of Florida interest.
The group includes: Gallant Capture of a Ladys Wardrobe by the Brave Troops of Florida. Philadelphia: Published by J.L. Magee, [1861]. Lithograph on paper, framed measures 18 3/8 x 21 5/8 inches; Three prints of Florida military history interest, including a hand colored lithograph of "Fort Pickens," published by Currier & Ives, a hand colored woodcut by J. O. Davidson, "The Naval Drill at Pensacola," and a woodcut from Harper's Weekly, 2 March, 1861, "Fort Taylor, Key West, Florida"; The Everglades of Florida. Hand-colored woodcut; Nova Mexico. [Circa 1750?]. Large engraving on three sheets, folded; and A map of the "Isles Lucayes." Hand colored engraving. Some with light toning, faint cockling, "Nova Mexico" with some spotting, the map with a stain, altogether quite presentable, not examined out of frames and sold as is.
