Hand-colored engraving and aquatint by R. Havell, 1836, plate CCCIII from The Birds of America, with J. Whatman 1836 watermark, pale lightstain, handling creases, unobtrusive foxing and soiling, bottom right sheet corner detached but present, several tears and some small nicks and losses at sheet edges (largest tear 1 7/8 inch), a diagonal soft crease in the left margin, top and right sheet edges folded in 1/4 inch (with some splitting), otherwise in good condition, with wide margins, framed.
