Partially printed vellum document accomplished in manuscript granting Ohio land to James Bays, the assignee of Joseph Caldwell of Butler County, retains paper covered wax seal. 8 1/2 x 13.5 inches (21.5 x 34.5 cm); framed with a portrait. Folds, old stains and soiling, puncture to upper corner, the Madison and counter-signature somewhat weak, unexamined out frame but visibly not laid down.
