Three volumes in red morocco bound for The Law Society of the United Kingdom, each volume with a concealed fore-edge painting: volume I with an oval portrait of Julius Caesar set against a scene of charioteers; volume II with a portrait of Henry VIII set against a view of London; volume III with an oval portrait of the young Queen Victoria set against the Crystal Palace. 8 3/8 x 5 1/2 inches; xii, 419 pp.; viii, 465 pp.; viii, 457 pp. Very light wear, a bright set overall.
